Always ride with traffic, not against. Please do not ride on the four lane highway.‍ ‍Use traffic lights to cross the highway and obey traffic rules. Click here for a good list of local bike paths. The Bike Barn is located conveniently close to Nags Head Woods Road path, Wright Brothers National Memorial, and Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Be aware that beach riding is prohibited by town governments and the sand and salt can seriously damage an e-bike.

At low power level and moderate pedal assist, the battery will last about five hours, providing a range of up to 45 - 65 miles, depending on RAD Power Bike model rented. More pedal assist gives even greater range. You can also pedal with no electric power, if needed. Rider weight and wind also affects range. Battery chargers are provided for weekly rentals.

Yes,. Weekly rentals include FREE delivery. Free daily rentals are available Monday through Friday. For all other rentals, shop is conveniently located at THE BIKE BARN - 1312 Wrightsville Blvd, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948. You can ride from the Bike Barn including, freshly paved side streets, the Beach Road and the popular Nags Head Woods Road, or to Wrights Brothers National Monument, and Jockey’s Ridge State Park. The shop also offers two hour rentals in addition to daily and weekly.

Yes, we provide a helmet and a small carry bag. For weekly rentals we provide a charger. We also have child seats, baskets, and locks for rent.
